LEWISBURG, Pa. — Nine Bucknell football student athletes have been named to the 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society. The honorees include; Alex Brown, Kieran Coscia, Aaron Davis, Charlie Kreinbucher, John Ohnegian, Ralph Rucker IV, Ashton Sempervive, Daniel Sierk and Terian Williams II.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is honoring the 20th anniversary of this initiative in 2026, so alongside the celebrating of this year's crop of honorees, it is also reminiscing on its history, which includes Bucknell University.
Bucknell is one of only 23 institutions nationwide that have had at least one honoree in each of the 20 years of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society's existence (2007-2026). The Bison also rank in the FCS top-10 for all-time NFF Hampshire Honor Society membership.
In order to be eligible for this honor, the student-athlete must be a senior in his final year of eligibility or a graduated player who has already earned a bachelor's degree, must have earned a minimum 3.2 GPA and must have been a starter or contributor to the football team.
The 2026 class includes a record 2,596 players from 365 colleges and universities.
The honor society has had 23,569 total nominees and 691 colleges and universities represented across its 20 years. There are six divisions of football represented including FBS (5,691 honorees), FCS (5,081 honorees), Division II (2,333 honorees), Division III (9,278 honorees), NAIA (999 honorees) and Sprint (249 honorees).
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is a key part of the NFF's mission to promote academic excellence, leadership and personal development through football. Created in 2007 with support from Jon F. Hanson, the program expanded the NFF's ability to recognize student-athletes beyond its National Scholar-Athlete program. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher.
