LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's golf team continues its busy schedule this week at the Tuxedo Autumn Invitational, hosted by Columbia at the Tuxedo Club. The 54-hole tournament will be contested on Friday and Saturday, with 36 holes played on Friday and the final 18 on Saturday.
In addition to Bucknell and Columbia, Lehigh, Lafayette, Monmouth, Manhattan, St. Peter's, Central Connecticut, Hofstra, Drexel and St. Thomas Aquinas will be in the field.
The Bison participated in this event for the first time last year and finished in seventh place with rounds of 305-312-324. Daniel Levin (T-12th) and D.J. Magee (T-14th) both finished in the top 20, and both will be in the field against this week. Magee shot 73-73 on the first day and was in contention for the individual title before finishing with an 83.
Levin did not play last week at Cornell, but he is coming off an even-par 70 in his most recent round at the Bucknell Invitational on Sept. 13.
Levin and Magee will be joined in the Bucknell lineup by junior John Edler and freshmen Connor O'Brien and Jubal Early. O'Brien has finished 4th, 10th and T-18th in his first three collegiate starts, and he leads the team with a 73.6 scoring average.
Results from the Tuxedo Autumn Invitational will be posted on Friday and Saturday evenings.
