Women's Golf Wraps up Play at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bison women's golf team closed with a 331 team score in the third and final round of the Bucknell Invitational on Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club. Bucknell finished in 12th place with a 54-hole total of 979.
Fairleigh Dickinson held off Princeton by three shots to win the team title. Led by a pair of 3-over-par 73s from individual champion Gabriela Santina and Anneke Strobach, FDU finished with a 919 total.
Santini outdistanced Anna Kim of St. John's and Seton Hall's Megan Tenhundfeld by four shots.
After posting three rounds of 318 or better last week at the William & Mary Invitational, the Bison shot 323-325-331 this week on their home course. Emily Larson led the team on Sunday with an 80. Her 239 total was also the team low and put her in a tie for 26th place.
Also for the Bison in the final round, Jen Lee shot 82, Lindsay Dodovich carded an 83, Katie Childers finished with an 86, and Meghan Garanich shot 92.
The Bison will be back in action on Sept. 28-29 at the East Carolina Invitational.
