Women's Golf Posts 315 on Day 2 of William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Bucknell's women's golf team followed up its opening-round 303 with a team score of 315 in round two of the William & Mary Invitational on Monday. Freshman Katie Childers fired her second straight 77 to lead the Bison, who are now in ninth place in the team standings.
Sophomore Lindsay Dodovich began the day in a tie for the individual lead after her tremendous 2-under-par 70 on Sunday. She carded an 80 in the second round and is now tied for 11th place, nine shots behind leader Tan Cheeranont of High Point, who is 3-under for the tournament.
Junior Emily Larson and freshman Eunbbie Kim both posted 79s for the Bison, and senior Jen Lee shot 81.
UNC Wilmington compiled its second straight 293 to maintain the team lead at 586 overall. William & Mary and Eastern Kentucky are tied for second at 598, followed by Radford (609), High Point (609), Appalachian State (610), Western Carolina (613), Longwood (613), Bucknell (618), Presbyterian (619), North Dakota State (624) and Seton Hall (624).
The third and final round gets underway Tuesday morning.
