Bucknell Cross Country Teams Withdraw from Today's Meet at Penn State

LEWISBURG, Pa. – In light of an accident involving four student-athletes on the Bucknell men's cross country team, both the Bucknell men's and women's cross country teams have elected to withdraw from today's Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State University.
Late Thursday afternoon, four members of the team were running near campus when they were struck by a vehicle. Three of the students involved were treated and released from an area hospital. The fourth is expected to be released later today. Our thoughts are with our students as they continue their recoveries.
Both Bison cross country teams are expected to be back in action on Sept. 26 at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational.
