Bucknell Football Luncheons Begin September 2 at La Primavera Restaurant

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell football team's first game of the 2015 season is next Saturday (Sept. 5) and Bison fans can hear sixth-year head coach Joe Susan and select players preview the contest at the first Bucknell Football Luncheon, which will be held next Wednesday, Sept. 2, at La Primavera Restaurant on Route 45 in Lewisburg.
The Bucknell Football Luncheon is a weekly gathering that is open to the general public. A buffet lunch (cost: $10) will be served each week with the program beginning at noon. Plenty of free parking is available and there is a separate entrance to the restaurant available to luncheon guests.
Susan will recap the previous week's game, preview the next opponent and take questions from fans in attendance at each luncheon. Select players will also make appearances at many of the luncheons.
Bucknell's season opener vs. Marist is just 11 days away. The Bison open their 2015 campaign next Saturday, Sept. 5, at 6 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Campus Box Office at 570-577-1000 or online via bucknell.edu/boxoffice. For those that can't make it to the game, a free video broadcast will be available on the Patriot League Network.
