Women's Swimming & Diving Ranks 2nd With 24 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Members

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's swimming and diving team had 24 student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Wednesday. Among the Bison honorees were three with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.
Bucknell was second in the Patriot League with 24 honorees, trailing only Loyola. No other program had more than 20 honorees.
Bison Tara Boyle, Paige Daniel and Amber McDonnell were three of 17 women's swimming and diving student-athletes across the Patriot League to post a 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester.
As a team, the Bison registered an impressive 3.44 GPA during the spring semester.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
