Men's Track and Field Competes at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Bucknell men's track and field team was represented by multiple athletes on the second day of the 121st Penn Relays on Friday.
Senior Christian Lupica held his own against a loaded field in the 110-meter hurdles. He took 13th out of 29 runners with a time of 14.13 seconds. Lupica holds the school record in the event with a time of 13.84, as well as the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium record holder with a time of 13.87.
The Bison also had a solid showing in the sprint medley relay. Daniel Gevirtz, Grant Reynolds, Kevin Tapper and John Westwood made up the team that took 22nd with a time of 3:29.39.
Senior Andrew Garcia-Garrison will compete in the Olympic Development mile for Bucknell on Saturday. Other members of the Bison team will take part in Bloomsburg's Maroon and Gold Meet.
