Women's Golf Underway at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Jen Lee and Katie Childers posted 81s in wet conditions to lead Bucknell on day one at the Princeton Invitational. Play was shortened to 18 holes on Saturday due to morning rain, and the Bison posted a 331 team score to stand in 12th place in a 15-team field that features all seven Ivy League women's golf teams.
Graysen Bright carded an 84 for the Bison, while the team's top two players coming in -- Lindsay Dodovich and Emily Larson -- followed with 85 and 86.
Host Princeton took the team lead with a 306. Columbia is next at 312, followed by Rutgers at 315 and Harvard and Yale at 318. Dartmouth's Isabelle Kane and Princeton's Tenley Shield share the individual lead at 2-over-par 74.
The second and final round will get underway Sunday at 8 a.m. Bucknell will be paired with Lehigh and Seton Hall. The Bison will start the day five shots behind the Mountain Hawks and seven behind the Pirates. Bucknell leads Brown (334), Navy (335) and Quinnipiac (339).
