About the Game
Bucknell heads to West Point to play an FBS opponent for the first time since 2001 Saturday when it faces Army West Point at Michie Stadium. The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network. It is Homecoming at West Point and it is also the 125 Years of Army Football Celebration. The Bison are coming off a 21-10 home loss to Lehigh in their Patriot League opener this past Saturday, while the Black Knights suffered a 44-3 home loss to Duke last week. Bucknell has long been known as a strong defensive team against the run under head coach Joe Susan, and it will be an interesting matchup against Army West Point's triple option offense that ranks 12th nationally in FBS in rushing yards. This will be the final non-league game for the Bison, and it will be the earliest start time for a Bucknell contest all season.
