LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell swimming and diving teams recently returned to Pennsylvania from a winter training trip to Florida and will waste little time getting back into the swing of their competition schedule as they have two dual meets on this weekend's schedule. The Bison host Patriot League foe Army Saturday at noon at Kinney Natatorium and just over 24 hours later will travel to Binghamton for a 1 p.m. non-conference dual.
There will be live results of Saturday's meet available via BucknellBison.com.
The Bison have not competed in a meet since splitting against Colgate on Dec. 6. The men won handily, 202-86, while the women dropped a tight 150-148 decision to the Raiders.
Bucknell's men are a strong 5-2 overall this season and 4-1 against Patriot League foes. The Bison have scored more than 200 points in four of their five wins.
The Bucknell women are 3-4 on the year, including 2-3 against Patriot League competition. The last two losses for the Bison have been by a combined 30 points to Colgate and league frontrunner Navy.
Bucknell will host a meet three of the next four Saturday's before taking some time off to prepare for the Patriot League Championships, which will take place Feb. 18-21 at Kinney Natatorium.
Army's men bring a 3-3, 0-1 Patriot League record into the weekend, while its women are 2-3, 0-1 PL. Both Black Knight squads take on Lehigh Friday at 5 p.m. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
