LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell swimming and diving teams return from a weekend without competition with a home meet against Lehigh on Saturday at Kinney Natatorium. The Bison will be on the move right after the meet as the squad travels to New York City on Sunday. The men will take on Columbia while the women face Wagner for a dual meet at 1 p.m. This will be the last dual meet of the season.
The last time Bucknell competed was back on Jan. 10 and 11, as the squads went up against Army and Binghamton that weekend. The women earned victories over both opponents, a 180-120 win over the Black Knights and a 170-125 triumph against the Bearcats. The men also gained a 168-127 win against Binghamton, but fell to Patriot League opponent Army 167-133.

The Bucknell men are 6-3 on the year, including 4-2 against Patriot League competition. The men have been able to top 200 points on four different occasions this season.
Lehigh will prove to be a difficult foe to go up against, but a team that Bucknell has had success against in the past as the Bison have a 63-26 combined record against the Mountain Hawks. The Lehigh men enter the weekend at 5-4, and the women sit at 5-3. The men have won four of their last five, while the women are coming off of a 186-108 victory over Loyola.
Columbia's men stand at 4-2 overall and are currently 10-0 all-time against Bucknell. This will be the 11th consecutive season that these two teams meet. Meanwhile, Wagner's women rank in at an impressive 8-1-1 overall and 5-0 in the NEC, as the two teams go up against each other for the first time.
Following this weekend's meets, Bucknell will host the Bison Invite on Jan. 31 at Kinney Natatorium. This will be the final meet of the year before Patriot League Championships in February.
