Adams Named Patriot League Cross Country Rookie of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Freshman cross country runner Kyle Adams has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after a great individual performance at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational on Saturday. It is the second straight Rookie of the Week honor for the Bison.

Adams took 34^th out of 233 runners in the 8k at Dickinson. His time of 27:12.08 was the sixth fastest for Bucknell and the best by any Bison freshmen.

Bucknell finished third out of 36 teams. The event included two courses, with the top three runners from each team in each race being scored. The Bison were third in the 8k race and fourth in the 4k race.

The Bison will travel to Earlysville, Virginia to compete in the Panorama Farms Invitational on Friday. The race is hosted by the University of Virginia.
