Bison Women's Golf Leads Patriot League with Seven Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Patriot League champion Bucknell women's golf team posted a stellar 3.42 combined grade-point average during the spring semester and led the league with seven student-athletes named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was announced by the league office on Friday.

All 10 members of the squad recorded a GPA of at least a 3.0 in the spring, and seven earned the required 3.20 to qualify for the Honor Roll. Holy Cross (6), Boston University (5), Lehigh (5) and Navy (2) rounded out the representatives, which featured 11 repeat selections from last year's inaugural list.

Among Bucknell's honorees were seniors Bridget Wilcox and Lauren Bernard, who were both named to the five-player Patriot League Women's Golf All-Academic Team in May, and Kasha Scott, who posted a team-best 3.93 as a management major in her final semester before graduation.
