LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's and women's soccer teams have both earned their annual spots on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award lists. A total of 864 college teams (281 men, 583 women) earned awards by posting a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2013-14 academic year. Bucknell was one of 195 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
Ben Landis' women's team posted a 3.42 team GPA and has now been honored in all 18 years the award has been given.
Earlier this month, seniors Hannah Bonotto and Courtney Nelson were named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team.
In the coming weeks the NSCAA will announce its Scholar All-America teams.
