Bison Finish with 329 at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Emily Larson posted a 79 and the Bucknell women's golf team finished the Nittany Lion Invitational with a 329 team score on Sunday at the Penn State Blue Course. Larson filed scores in the 70s in two of her three rounds in chilly conditions and led the Bison with a 239 total over 54 holes.
Also counting for Bucknell on Sunday, Jen Lee carded an 81, Callie Nelson shot 83 and Nicole Mischler 86.
Columbia edged out Yale by one stroke and Harvard by three for the team title. At the start of the day Columbia had a one-shot lead over Yale, and both teams shot 296 on Sunday. Kelsey Murphy of Eastern Michigan closed with a 4-under-par 68 to win the individual title by one shot over Columbia's Monique Ishikawa, who shot 69.
The Bison will be back in action on Oct. 13-14 at the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo at the Catawba Island Club.
