Bucknell Football Luncheons Move to La Primavera Restaurant in 2013

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The weekly Bucknell Football Luncheon will be changing both location and day of week in 2013. The popular event will take place this fall at its new location, La Primavera Restaurant, on Route 45 in Lewisburg. It will be held each Wednesday throughout the football season, starting Sept. 4, and is open to the general public.
A buffet lunch (cost: $9) will be served each week with the program beginning at noon. Plenty of free parking is available and there will be a separate entrance to the restaurant available to luncheon guests.
Bison fourth-year head coach Joe Susan will recap the previous week's game, preview the next opponent and take questions from fans in attendance. Select players will also make appearances at many of the luncheons.
The Bucknell Men's Basketball Luncheons will also be moving to La Primavera this winter.
Some other key opportunities to connect with Bison programs include the Men's Basketball Tip-Off Reception Nov. 5 at the Towne Tavern and the revamped Women's Sports Luncheon Series, which will take place four times during the academic year in the Center Room of the Langone Center.
