Wright Paces Bison on Day 1 at Lafayette Invitational

EASTON, Pa. -- Billy Wright shot a 4-over-par 76 on Sunday to lead the Bucknell men's golf team in the first round of the Lafayette Invitational. The Bison posted a 316 team score and sit in 13th place with another round still to come on Monday.
Wright is tied for 19th place after 18 holes. He was followed on the Bucknell ledger by Zach Pogust with a 79, Thomas Walter with an 80, Jon Hartman 81 and Nick Geissler 89.
St. Peter's took the team lead with a round of 302. Lehigh and Central Connecticut are one shot off the pace, while Army and Monmouth are tied for fourth, just three back.
Brandon Shin of Hofstra and Christopher Crawford of Drexel share the individual lead after posting even-par 72s. Rider's Evan McGrain is alone in third place after opening with a 73.
The final round gets underway on Monday at 9 a.m.
