Bucknell Women's Golf in 13th at UNCW Seahawk Classic

WALLACE, N.C. -- The Bucknell women's golf team opened up play at the UNC Wilmington Seahawk Classic with 36 holes on Saturday at River Landing G.C., and the Bison posted rounds of 343 and 331. Bridget Wilcox was the low Bison with rounds of 81 and 80.
Emily Timmons also posted an 80 in the second round after a first-round 90. Kasha Scott carded a pair of 85s, Jen Lee shot 89-86, and Meghan Garanich shot 88-88.
Host UNCW has a three-stroke lead in the team standings over Old Dominion and UNC Greensboro. The Seahawks are at 613 total after posting rounds of 305 and 308. Princeton and Georgia State round out the top five. The Bison are in 13th place, one spot ahead of new Patriot League rival Navy.
Fanny Cnops of UNCG is the individual leader at 146 (74-72). Lori Beth Adams of UNCW and Kelly Shon of Princeton are tied for second, one stroke off the lead.
The third and final round gets underway Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
