Bucknell Field Hockey Hosts Spring Clinic & Tournament

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell field hockey's 2013 season is still six months away, but the Bison are staying busy by hosting another round of its spring tournament and clinic. The event is scheduled for March 23 and April 21 at Bucknell's Graham Field at Holmes Stadium. Interested participants should complete the registration form available at BucknellBison.com.
Registration is limited to 10 total teams and closes two weeks prior to the event. Walk-up registrations will not be accepted.
The 2013 clinic portion of the event includes a half-hour overview of basic and advanced skills for individuals. A 7 vs. 7 tournament will follow, including round-robin pool games and cross-over play.

Bucknell finished its 2012 campaign at 9-10 overall and 3-2 in Patriot League play. Five Bison were named All-Patriot League performers at the end of the regular season and the team returns four of those standouts for the upcoming campaign. Among them was rising senior Vickie Resh, a member of the American team that placed third at the 2012 Junior Pan-American Games and qualified for the World Cup.
