Bucknell Swimming and Diving Squads Named Scholar All-America Teams

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving squads were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America this week. The Bison women's team registered a cumulative 3.49 grade-point average during the spring semester, while the men posted a 3.35 GPA.
Both Bucknell teams led the Patriot League in GPA. The men ranked tied for sixth nationally among Division I programs, while the women tied for 17th.
The Scholar All-America Teams honor was the second this year for both Bison squads as they were cited after the fall semester as well. The women were 27th nationally in GPA (3.4) and the men were 30th with a 3.14.
The women recently led the league with 22 team members named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The men also led the league with 18 Academic Honor Roll selections.
