Bucknell Men's Golf Has Seven Selected to Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's golf team placed seven members of the 36 selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The Bison were led by freshman Zach Pogust who earned a 3.91 GPA.
Navy led all Patriot League schools with eight student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll. Bucknell and Lafayette added seven student-athletes apiece to the list, while Colgate followed with five.
Junior J.J. Szmadzinski had a 3.83 grade-point average to earn his way onto the Academic Honor Roll. Szmadzinski was the 2012 Patriot League Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 2 At-Large Team.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
