Bison Softball Lands Eight on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell softball team placed eight members of the 42 selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The Bison were led by senior Meredith Dickson who finished with a 3.85 GPA in accounting during the spring semester.
Bucknell was runner-up in selections with Lafayette at eight apiece. Holy Cross led all Patriot League schools with 10 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll.
Dickson also earned Second Team All-Patriot League and Academic All-Patriot League for her work during the spring season. Dickson has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll every season while at Bucknell.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
