Bucknell Swimming and Diving to Face American and Navy in Washington, D.C.

LEWISBURG, Pa. - One day after having its scheduled quad meet at Lafayette postponed, the Bucknell swimming and diving program finalized plans to compete against Patriot League foes American and Navy in Washington, D.C., this weekend. The meet will feature diving Friday at 7:30 p.m. and swimming Saturday at noon at Reeves Pool.
Lafayette will not participate in this weekend's meet. Bucknell will try to schedule a make-up competition against the Leopards. Lafayette was originally scheduled to host the quad meet, but in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the meet was postponed and moved to American.
Bucknell's men are 1-1 on the young season, having split with Fordham and UConn two weeks ago. The Bison women are 0-2 with losses to the Rams and Huskies.
