Bucknell Women's Golf Cancels Trip to Palmetto Invitational Due to Threat of Storm

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy and the potential impact major travel delays could have on additional missed class time, the Bucknell women's golf team has withdrawn from the Palmetto Invitational at Kiawah Island, S.C. The tournament is scheduled for Sunday and Monday at the Oak Point Course at Kiawah Island.

Bucknell's fall season is now complete. The Bison will be back at Kiawah for the start of the 2013 spring season, as they will play in the Edwin Watts Kiawah Classic, one of the nation's largest annual collegiate women's events.
