Bucknell-Mount St. Mary's Women's Soccer Game Called Off

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- For the second time in a week, the Bucknell women's soccer team has lost a game to inclement weather. On Wednesday night at Mount Saint Mary's, the Bison waited out a severe thunderstorm for two hours, and just minutes before the contest was set to begin, another lightning flash was spotted and Mount officials called off the game.
Last Wednesday, Bucknell's game at Binghamton was cancelled due to the heavy rains that soaked the Northeast.
The Bison are in the midst of a two-game winning streak that has now spanned 10 days. They will look to extend that streak on Saturday, when Saint Francis (Pa.) visits Emmitt Field for a noon start. That kicks off a three-game homestand that also features clashes with Penn State and Marist.
