Bucknell Swimming and Diving Squads Named Scholar All-America Teams for Second Time in 2010-11

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving squads were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America last week. The Bison women's team registered a cumulative 3.47 grade-point average during the spring semester, while the men posted a 3.20 GPA.
The Bucknell women ranked tied for 14th nationally among Division I programs and were the top ranked Patriot League team.
The Bison men were listed tied for 19th nationally and were one of just three Patriot League teams recognized. Lafayette (3.38 GPA) and Colgate (3.04 GPA) joined Bucknell on the list.
This is the second citation for both Bucknell teams this year. They were both named Scholar All-America Teams in February for GPAs above 3.0 during the 2010 fall semester.
