Field Hockey Hosts Annual Spring Clinic April 3

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell field hockey will host its annual spring clinic April 3 at Graham Field. Guided by members of the Bison field hockey team and coaching staff, participants will receive instruction on passing and receiving, situational play and goal scoring. Goalkeepers will also work on basic saves and penalty corner defense. Registration is open to students aged 12 to 18.
Registration for the clinic is now open. Those interested in participating should return the registration form to Jamie Whitten by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29. Please see the brochure for more information.
Bucknell field hockey finished the 2010 season with a 7-12 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the Patriot League, qualifying for the league tournament for the third consecutive season. The Bison collected several postseason awards, including Patriot League Rookie of the Year (Rachel Misko), two First Team All-Patriot League accolades (Kelly Bruvik, Christine Weiss), three Second Team All-Patriot League selections (Misko, Morgan Kauffman, Tayler Siegrist) and the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Weiss).
