KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Bison women's golf team opened up its 2011 spring season at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Sunday and posted a first-round 331 in cool, windy conditions. Three players carded 3-under-par 69s on Sunday: Betsy Birchall of William & Mary, Sarah Bejgrowicz of Campbell and Mary Chamberlain of James Madison.
