Bucknell Men's Basketball Holding Intrasquad Scrimmage, Reception on Homecoming Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. --The Bucknell men's basketball team will be hosting a pair of Homecoming events on Saturday at Sojka Pavilion. At 11 a.m., there will be an intrasquad scrimmage, and at 4:30 p.m., the team will hold a reception in the McGee Room on the Sojka Pavilion concourse. Both events are open to the public.
Guests of honor at the reception will be Pat Flannery '80 and J.R. Holden '98, two Bison basketball alumni who are members of the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame. Flannery will be inducted on Saturday morning along with former all-star guard Chris Simpson '94, who is now living in Africa and will not be able to make it back for the ceremony. Holden will also be signing copies of his book, Blessed Footsteps, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble Bucknell Bookstore on Market Street in Lewisburg.
The Bison men's basketball team is one week into preseason practice, as it prepares for its Nov. 11 season opener at Minnesota.
