LEWISBURG, Pa. --Kasha Scott posted her second straight 76, but she was the only Bucknell player to break 80 in round two of the Nittany Lion Invitational on Saturday. The Bison shot 321 as a team and slipped to 13th place in the team standings.
Scott made a pair of birdies, including one on her very first hole of the day (No. 6), and she was poised for an even better round until a double-bogey at the par-5 fifth, her final hole of the day. Scott is now tied for 20th in the individual standings.
Also for the Bison on Saturday, Lauren Bernard carded an 81, Minjoo Lee and Bridget Wilcox both shot 82, and Brittany Rendell posted a 90.
There was movement at the top of the team standings, as Eastern Michigan moved into the lead with a round of 297 on Saturday. Host Penn State had the best round of the day with a 294 and are tied for second along with day one leader Longwood, just two shots off the lead.
Ariel Witmer of Longwood is the individual leader at even-par 144 through 36 holes. Her teammate, Amanda Steinhagen, is two shots back.
The third and final round is slated for Sunday at the Penn State Blue Course.
