LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell softball continues to have its games in Baltimore, Md., postponed, as the Bison will have to wait another day before taking on Coppin State due to poor field conditions. The Saturday doubleheader between the Eagles and the Bison has been delayed until Sunday, March 28. The teams will attempt to play all three scheduled games tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m.
Bucknell was rained out of the UMBC Dawg Pound Classic two weeks ago, putting an end to its first planned trip to Baltimore. After that canceled tournament, the Bison headed to Los Angeles where they went 3-4 against Harvard and at the Crowne Plaza LAX Showcase hosted by Loyola Marymount.
The Bison are 5-6 on the season. Following their tripleheader at Coppin State, they will face Drexel in Philadelphia for a two-game series on Wednesday, March 31, then return to the Bucknell Varsity Softball Field for its home and Patriot League opener against Holy Cross April 3-4.
