Bucknell Women's Golf Finishes Up at Kiawah

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Bison women's golf team concluded play at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate with a round of 349 on Tuesday. Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) was the team's low player for the third straight day after carding an 82.
The Bison opened with a very solid 326, then as the weather deteriorated some finished with rounds of 331 and 349. They finished in 31st place.
Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland) finished with an 83 after opening 79-80. She was two strokes behind Lee for team-low honors.
Also for Bucknell on Tuesday, Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) and Alana Friedlander (Weston, Conn./Weston) shot 92 and Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) posted a 94.
Miami (Fla.) shot a third-round 289 to score a come-from-behind team victory. With a 54-hole total of 892, the Hurricanes finished one shot ahead of Minnesota and three ahead of Augusta State.
East Tennessee State's Nina Muehl and Oral Roberts' Crystal Reeves finished at 3-under par to share the individual title. Middle Tennessee State's Morgan Hale was third at 1-under.
Bucknell's next event will be the Low Country Intercollegiate at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C., on March 13-14.
