Bucknell Field Hockey Claims 12 Spots on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Twelve Bucknell field hockey student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday. The Bison had a league-leading three players with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the fall semester in Jessie Atieh (North Caldwell, N.J./West Essex), Mallory Smith (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) and Christine Weiss (Bethlehem, Pa./Southern Lehigh).
Bucknell's 12 selections rank third in the Patriot League. American led the way with 19, followed by Lehigh with 17. The Patriot League recognized a total of 74 student-athletes for their academic success throughout the fall term.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average in the fall semester.
