Bucknell Women's Tennis Second in Patriot League with Seven Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Led by senior co-captains Ashley Globerman and Paulina Gamboa, the Bucknell women's tennis team ranked second in the Patriot League with seven Academic Honor Roll selections, the league office announced Tuesday. A total of 35 Patriot League women's tennis student-athletes were recognized, with Holy Cross leading the way with eight.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
Each of Bucknell's four All-Patriot League selections (Gamboa, Dumitrita Iepuras, Lauren Lucido, Tania Varela) showed up on the Academic Honor Roll.
