Women's Tennis Falls in Patriot League Quarterfinals to Army 4-0

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell women's tennis' season came to an end on Friday as Army defeated the Bison 4-0 in the Patriot League Quarterfinals.
Bucknell ended the season 10-11 overall and 2-6 in Patriot League play.
Army opened the match by earning the doubles points with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots as Ruckno and Mellynchuck defeated Jaycie Mair and Summer Even Esh 6-3 and Duong and Mathivanan defeated Cameron King and Natalie Devraj 6-3. The No. 1 doubles match went unfinished with Army's Brilliant and Smith leading 5-4 over Abby Platt and Riley Jennings.
The Black Knights then took three straight singles matches to earn a 4-0 win and move on to the semifinals.
