Bucknell Men's Tennis Suffers Loss At Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Bison lost in men's tennis Sunday to Navy, 6-1. Their first loss in the last three matches drops their overall record to 5-7 this spring. The Blue and Gold's record is now 13-7.
“Navy is always a tough team. They're probably the best in the conference,” said Assistant Coach Steve Schram.
Sophomore Anton Kovic (Montreal, Quebec/Milton Academy (Mass.)) picked up Bucknell's sole victory in the second court of singles. Kovic defeated Marcus Rebersak 3-6, 6-4 (13-11) to lead the Bison. With the victory, Kovic picked up his fifth singles victory this spring and the 18th of his career.
The Bison will be back in action on Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m., against Colgate, in Hamilton, N.Y.
