Bucknell's Trisha Krewson Selected Patriot League Rookie of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Trisha Krewson (Sandusky, Ohio/Perkins) was named the Patriot League Baden Rookie of the Week on Monday. The freshman set career highs in scoring and assists against Buffalo on Friday night to bring Bucknell its second league honor of the season.
Krewson earned her first career start in the contest versus the Bulls in Sojka Pavilion. The guard made the most of her opportunity scoring a career-high 11 points of 5-of-8 shooting and dishing out four assists, also a career best. Her five rebounds tied her high. Defensively, Krewson contributed one block and one steal in 22 minutes of play.
In her first season as a Bison, Krewson is averaging 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. She entered Bucknell as a McDonald's All-American nominee and earned a selection to the Second Team All-Ohio as a high school senior.
Krewson followed up her selection as Rookie of the Week by posting five points, three rebounds and an assist at Howard on Monday night.
The Bison, which are 7-5 overall, take on Cornell on Wednesday, Jan. 7 in their final non-conference matchup of the season.
