Bucknell Football Places 23 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell football team placed 23 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced recently. It marked the seventh time in the last eight years the Bison had at least 20 team members honored.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter. A total of 133 Patriot League football student-athletes were recognized.
Among the Bison cited were senior fullback Kevin Mullen and Sam Nana-Sinkam, who both earned Academic All-District honors this past fall. Mullen was also a semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy, which is often referred to as the "Academic Heisman." Bucknell's starting quarterback, Marcello Trigg, also earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for the first time.
