About Last Week
- Last Thursday at Varsity Soccer Field, Bucknell dominated Mount St. Mary's in a 4-0 win. Nicole Marotta scored twice and Jennifer Dervarics and Chelsea Brinkman once each, and the Bison outshot The Mount 35-2.
- On Sunday in Richmond, Va., Bucknell dropped a tough one at Virginia Commonwealth. Trailing 2-0 in the second half and with their leading scorer (Jennifer Dervarics) and top defender (Nicole Marotta) off the field with injuries, the Bison fought back to tie the game. Christa Matlack scored in the 69th minute to get the Bison on the board, then Brooke Stokes tied it in the 83rd minute. But only 39 seconds after the Stokes goal, Laurel Pastor scored on a deflection to win it for the Rams.
About the Bison
