LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Sun Sports announced Wednesday that it will be televising all NCAA Baseball Tournament games featuring Florida State and Florida from the Tallahassee Regional this weekend at Dick Howser Stadium. That means that Bucknell's opening-night game with the Seminoles will air live on the network, as will any ensuing contests against one of the Florida teams in the double-elimination regional.
Outside the state of Florida, satellite television subscribers can access Sun Sports on DirecTV (Channel 632) and Dish Network (Channel 422).
Additionally, the Bison Sports Network will provide radio coverage of every Bucknell game in the tournament. Doug Birdsong's play-by-play call can be heard live on WVBU 90.5 FM in Lewisburg, as well as on the Web via BucknellBison.com and SportsJuice.com.
Less than two weeks removed from their Patriot League title, the Bison will be making their fourth NCAA appearance. Bucknell and Florida State will meet for the first time ever on Friday at 7 p.m. Florida and Tulane meet in the other opening-round contest in Tallahassee on Friday, with the winners meeting Saturday at 7 p.m. and the losers meeting Saturday at 1 p.m.
