PERSPECTIVE of the FIRST FEW DAYS as provided by the Senior Class:
Today, Thursday, May 22, was our second day in Barbados and we had the chance to enjoy a 4x4 Island Safari adventure. Throughout our travels we saw a few green monkeys (common to the island), held an octopus, and went "off-roading" with our Land Rover driver Charles. In our travels we gained a greater understanding of the culture and history of this beautiful island.
Yesterday we played a Combined Select Club team and won 4-2. It was really fun to compete against a different style of play. Following the game we took in the Harbour Lights Beach Show and Dinner Party. After a great meal which included delicious Bajan specialties such as macaroni pie and maui-maui, the extravaganza continued with entertaining performances such as a limbo dancer, a fire-eating gentleman and stilt walkers. To cap off the evening we had plenty of time to dance in sand.
We're looking forward to our next game tonight (Thursday) against the Barbados Junior Nationals.
