LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell senior Corey Curnutte (Waterford, Mich./Detroit Country Day), a two-time All-Patriot League choice and a member of the Bison men's soccer team, received a special award at the University's annual Senior Athletic Awards Banquet, sponsored by the Bison Club and held in Sojka Pavilion on Tuesday, April 29.
Curnutte won the Bryan-Humphreys Award, presented to the senior athlete "who has exhibited exceptional versatility within his/her sport, displaying outstanding achievement and the selfless determination to help the team succeed by contributing in a variety of ways." Curnutte shared the award with Hope Foster of the women's basketball team, who was the female selection.
In addition to Curnutte, several other student-athletes were honored at the banquet, including the winners of the Christy Mathewson Award, given to the most outstanding athletes in the senior class.
