Bucknell Ranks Third in PL with 20 Selections to Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell football team placed 20 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced recently. It marked the sixth time in the last seven years the Bison had at least 20 team members honored.
The 20 honorees ranked Bucknell third in the Patriot League. Georgetown led the way with 36, while Lafayette ranked second with 21. Lehigh (19), Holy Cross (15), Fordham (8) and Colgate (5) rounded out the list. A total of 124 football players appeared on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
