LEWISBURG, Pa. - In recognition of their Patriot League Championship performances last week, the Bucknell swimming and diving squads landed a total of 19 student-athletes on the All-Patriot League first and second teams, the league office announced on Wednesday. The Bison were second in all-league selections with Navy leading the way on the men's side with 13, while Colgate came out on top for the women with 11 honorees.
Sophomore Luke Trafton (Bath, Maine/Morse), who captured two individual PL titles, winning the 500 and 1,650 free, earned first team all-league recognition for a second consecutive season. Junior Mark Kawczenski (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Hanover Area) picked up his third overall all-league accolade and second straight first team nod after taking first in the 100 back. Bennett finished with 45 individual points, while DeLeon totaled 42.
