LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell-NJIT men's soccer game scheduled for Tuesday evening has been postponed one day due to poor weather conditions. The match, which is Bucknell's final home contest of the 2008 season, will now be played on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Holmes Stadium.
Bucknell will bring a 6-7-3 overall record into the game, while NJIT is 3-12-1. The Highlanders have won two straight, however, including a 2-1 upset of Rutgers last week and a 4-0 rout of Atlantic Soccer Conference foe Howard over the weekend.
The Bison are coming off a tough 2-1 Patriot League loss at Lafayette on Sunday. After Wednesday's game against NJIT, Bucknell has two more regular-season games remaining, both road league games at Lehigh and American. The Bison are in sixth place in the Patriot League standings but only two points out of the fourth and final playoff spot.
