Bucknell Women's Soccer Boasts League-Best Total on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's soccer team landed a league-high 19 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Thursday. The Bison led the league for a fourth consecutive year, while American followed in second with 15.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Highlighting the Bison list were sophomore Chelsea Brinkman (Clearwater, Fla./Palm Harbor University HS) and sophomore Lauren Stoller (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge), who represented the Orange and Blue on the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II second team, and junior co-captain Nicole Marotta (Bridgewater, N.J./Mount St. Mary Academy) who recently earned Scholar All-East Region third team honors from the NSCAA. Brinkman posted a 3.91 grade-point average this past fall, while Stoller recorded a 3.75 GPA. Marotta registered a 3.52 GPA as a biology major.
Elsewhere around the league, Lafayette had 13 honorees, Lehigh 10, Army and Colgate nine, Holy Cross eight and Navy six.
