LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior Kelly Hoffman (Boyertown, Pa./Oley Valley), junior Amanda Faust (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West), and sophomore Jessie Atieh (North Caldwell, N.J./West Essex), of the Bucknell field hockey team, notched Patriot League honors for Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively, on Monday.
Hoffman tallied five points with two goals and one assist in a two-game week that featured a 4-0 shutout over Saint Francis (Pa.) last Tuesday, and a 3-2 win in overtime versus Georgetown this past Saturday. Against the Hoyas, Hoffman had an assist to junior Trina Boyer (Macungie, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) at the 45:52 mark, to tie the score at 1-1. After 70 minutes of play, the Bison and Hoyas were tied 2-2, forcing overtime. Against the Red Flash, Hoffman recorded her fifth goal of the season at 32:39 into play.
