Bucknell Football Team Begins Preseason Practice Sunday

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The calendar has flipped to August, meaning that the start of preseason football camp must be right around the corner. The Bucknell freshmen report to campus on Friday, followed by the upperclassmen on Saturday.
After a day of equipment fitting, physicals and meetings, the entire squad will suit up for practice for the first time on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.
The team is scheduled to have 20 practices between Sunday and the end of preseason camp on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Classes begin on Aug. 23, when fifth-year head coach Tim Landis and the Bison begin normal game-week preparations for the Sept. 1 season-opener at Duquesne.
Below is a practice schedule for preseason camp. Please note that this schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or other factors.

Saturday, Aug. 11: 2:15-5 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 12: 8:15-10:30 a.m. and 7:15-9:30 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 13: 2:15-5 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 14: 8:15-10:30 a.m. and 7:15-9:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 15: 2:30-5:15 p.m.
