Bucknell Men's Swimming and Diving Paces Patriot League with 17 Academic Honor Roll Members

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's swimming and diving team landed a league-best 17 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced on Thursday. This marked the third-straight year the Bison have posted the highest total of selections as Navy and Holy Cross followed in second with 14 apiece.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
Among the Bucknell student-athletes honored were rising-junior Nicholas Hanes (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington) who posted a 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester as a chemical engineering major, one of just three student-athletes on the list with a perfect GPA.
Behind Bucknell, Navy and Holy Cross, Army followed with 10 honor roll members, Lafayette and American nine, while Colgate and Lehigh rounded out the group with five each.
